Emergency Assistance:

Every CMI policy comes with 24-hour Emergency Assistance Services.  Please refer to your program details for specific information including contact details.

Travel safely knowing you have travel and medical emergency assistance throughout the world. One call gives you access to multilingual experts to assist with you with the following:

- Referrals to the nearest, most appropriate medical facility or physician;

- Constant monitoring of any medical care you receive abroad;

- Urgent message relay between family, friends, your home physician, etc.;

- Guarantee of payment to foreign providers, ensuring that care is not delayed due to lack of payment;

- Coordination of payment between the foreign medical provider and your home health insurance;

- Emergency medical evacuations, transportation to join hospitalized family members, and repatriation of remains;

- Emergency travel arrangements for disrupted travel as the consequence of a medical emergency;

- Legal referrals; and

- Assistance in locating or replacing lost or stolen items, such as airline tickets or passports.

When you call, please be prepared with the following information: 

1) name of caller, phone number, fax number, and relationship to insured; 

2) insured’s name, age, sex and the policy number for your insurance plan; 

3) a description of the insured’s condition; 

4) name, location and telephone number of the hospital or other service provider; and
