This accident and sickness insurance plan is designed as a "safety net" for participants in independently organized international high school, secondary school and middle school exchange programs. The plan can be used by both outbound American students as well as inbound international students; it also covers their respective chaperones. 

This plan allows local organizers to ensure that their participants have adequate coverage for the duration of an international study program. All participants must be enrolled in the program. 

The Global Group High School Exchange Plan includes several features important for international travelers:
