About CMI

CMI Insurance provides specialized travel insurance products for international travelers.  Products include study abroad insurance for students who are exploring educational opportunities outside the USA, as well as various forms of global medical insurance for people traveling abroad and for foreign nationals traveling to the USA.

Coverage at home may not fill all needs while traveling abroad. Therefore, our study abroad or other international insurance plans include Emergency Medical Evacuation, Emergency Reunion, and Repatriation Benefits as well as 24 hour assistance services.  We offer group and individual plans.  See our plan selections listed on our home page.  The site map may also be of assistance.

We are pleased to work with Colleges, Universities, Study Abroad companies and organizations, High School Exchange organizations and schools, Rotary Clubs, business groups, and companies specializing in placing international participants in work and travel programs.

CMI Insurance was founded by Samuel H. Shriver, Jr. as CMI Insurance Specialists in 1971 as the insurance operation of Creative Marketing, Inc.  We are proud to continue Sam's legacy.
