Doctors/Hospitals Abroad This is access to lists provided by the U. S. State Department. The U.S. Embassies and Consulates maintain lists of physicians and medical facilities for distribution to American citizens needing medical care. The inclusion of a specific physician or medical facility does not constitute a recommendation by CMI, and neither CMI nor the Department of State assume any responsibility or liability for the professional ability or reputation of, or the quality of services provided by, the medical professionals, medical facilities, or air ambulance services whose names appear on such lists. Names are listed alphabetically, and the order in which they appear has no other significance. Professional credentials and areas of experitise are provided directly by the medical professional, medical facility, or air ambulance service. See U.S. Embassies and Consulates websites to access medical lists for specific countries if available from that sector, you will need to look for Emergency Services or a similar lisiting from the U. S. Citizens Services tab section of the Embassy or Consulate website. Also, it is very important to know that you may reach Europ Assistance USA (Worldwide Assistance) to access their data base of over 850,000 medical providers worldwide. This data is available by telephone. You may call them at their contact numbers provided to you with your enrollment in the plans.
